The Korean Academy of Prosthodontics organized the academy on September 16, 1959 to study and realize beyond prosthodontics
selected Dr. Lee Yeonguk as the first president of the academy, underwent ratification as the first official academic division of the Korean Dental Association
and reached up to the present day by repeating development day by day over the vast period of 50 years under the purpose of invigorating and developing the Academy of Prosthodontics and promoting mutual friendship among members.
